At the centre of all life is light. Our solar system orientates itself around the Sun, the great giver of light and life. Each dawn is a renewal, a rebirth, a new day – this is the pattern of Creation repeating itself every morning as life begins anew. Through the light of the sun, the cycles, and rhythms of the Earth are established: the movements of the seasons, the life cycles of plants, the migration of birds, the progression of human consciousness.
We also observe 13 cycles of the Moon. Its waxing and waning, pushing and pulling at the vast oceans. These daily lunar cycles of constant death and rebirth give rise to ritual, celebration and shedding and awakening in our consciousness.
Combined with the quintessence of fire, air, water, earth and ether. Which combined gives us the three sacred points, body, spirit and soul or fixed, mutable and cardinal or the Ayurvedic principles of Kapha, Vata and Pitta. Which applies to the 12 Astrological archetypes and carries the foundational blueprint of 7 colours of the rainbow, 7 chakra’s and 7 days of the week, 7 Inner planets that can be seen with the eye. All born from the “Great Mystery” the source. It is all perfect.
Through this understanding, we know we are not separate from Nature. We are fundamentally apart of it. Everything carries aliveness from the rocks to the trees. Everything carries signatures of correspondence with the Universe. From the growth cycles of plants, great fish migrations, the process of human digestion and the water cycles, to the movement of celestial bodies through out the sky and the turning of the seasons; it is this wisdom that Vee/Ra was born and continues to be nurtured.
Not only is Vee/Ra nourishing and delicious, but it can also be incredibly healing to the body, as it is the embodiment of the transformational process of nature which bring about those cycles of transformation within us.
